Notebooks
Choosing an edition, writing by hand and caring for your notebook.
How do I choose a notebook?
Review the materials, format and product information on the relevant product page.
Which pens should I use?
For erasable writing on supported reusable editions, use compatible Pilot FriXion ink. Check the product guidance before using other tools.
What is an Infinote notebook?
An Infinote notebook is a physical place for your notes, plans and sketches. Supported reusable editions can be written in, captured with the app and used again. Choose the edition for its material, format and care requirements.
Can I write in a notebook without using the app?
Yes. You can use the notebook on its own. The app adds a way to capture and organise pages digitally when you need it.
How do I clean reusable pages?
For supported wipe-clean pages, use a lightly damp microfibre cloth and water, then dry the page. Follow any edition-specific instructions supplied with your notebook.
How should I care for my notebook?
For Stone Paper editions, use the approved erasable ink and wipe gently with a clean, soft, slightly damp microfibre cloth. Let pages dry fully before closing. Avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners, sharp objects and excessive heat or direct sun. Follow the supplied erase method for EverWrite. Wipe cork and leather-style covers with a soft dry or barely damp cloth; do not soak them. Keep charging ports and electronics on Energia and electronic models completely dry.
Are all pages reusable?
Classic and Pocket Stone Paper editions and EverWrite families have reusable pages. For Nature, Field Journal, Originals and other products, check that the individual specification identifies Stone Paper or EverWrite page stock before treating the pages as reusable.
How many times can I reuse a notebook?
The notebooks are designed for repeated reuse. Usable life depends on the edition, pen and ink, cleaning method, writing pressure and care. No fixed reuse count or numeric reuse warranty is stated.
Stone Paper Editions
Material, writing tools and care questions for Stone Paper Editions only.
Which Stone Paper Edition should I choose?
Compare the size, ruling, cover and included accessories on the product pages. Choose the format that suits where you write and how you carry the notebook.
How does the surface feel?
Stone Paper Editions use smooth 168 GSM stone paper with a fluid writing feel.
How resistant are the pages to tearing?
The pages are described as tear-resistant and water-resistant. Resistant does not mean indestructible, and we do not guarantee that a page can never be damaged.
What is in the Stone Paper Editions surface?
Stone Paper Editions use 168 GSM Stone Paper with a smooth, water-resistant and tear-resistant surface. Exact mineral and binder proportions are not published without an approved supplier specification.
What changes when I write on stone paper?
The smooth surface feels different from conventional wood-pulp paper and is water-resistant and tear-resistant. Let fresh ink dry before touching or rubbing it, and follow the pen and cleaning guidance for your edition.
Which pen suits Stone Paper Editions?
Use the Infinote erasable pen supplied or approved for your notebook. Standard ballpoint pens may be used where compatible. Test gel pens first and allow enough drying time. Permanent markers and solvent-based inks are not recommended for reuse.
Can pencil marks be erased?
Pencil can be used for ordinary writing but is not the primary supported reuse method. Test a clean, soft eraser gently on a small area first. Use the approved erasable pen and cleaning method for the intended reusable workflow.
Are fountain pens and felt-tip pens suitable?
They are not the default recommendation for Stone Paper: wet ink can take longer to dry and may smear. If you choose to use one, test a small area and let the ink dry completely before touching or closing the page.
Can the edges cause a paper cut?
The pages are not described as paper-cut proof. Handle page edges as you would any bound sheet material.
Can I crease or fold a page?
A page can bend or fold, but a hard crease may remain and affect the writing surface, appearance and reusability. Avoid repeated folding to keep pages flat.
Can I write on a wet page?
Water resistance does not mean writing on a wet page is supported. Wipe off water and let the page dry before writing.
What environmental evidence is available?
We publish verified material and product information. No quantified lifecycle, carbon or water-saving benefit is stated without supporting documentation.
Which certifications apply to these editions?
No additional certification is claimed here. Any certification must be supported by a current document covering the specific material or product.
How should I dispose of used stone-paper pages?
Follow local waste and recycling rules. Do not place Stone Paper in conventional paper recycling unless supplier and local guidance confirm that route. Supplier-specific disposal guidance will be added when verified.
Where does the mineral material come from?
A mineral source or recycled-content claim is not published until confirmed by current supplier documentation.
EverWrite
Our strongest paper. Waterproof and tear-resistant.
What makes EverWrite different?
EverWrite is our strongest paper. It is waterproof and tear-resistant. Choose this edition when those qualities matter to the way you use a notebook.
Is EverWrite waterproof?
Yes. EverWrite paper is waterproof. This statement describes the paper; it does not establish that the cover, binding or writing ink has the same protection.
Is EverWrite tear-resistant?
Yes. EverWrite paper is tear-resistant. Tear resistance should not be read as a promise that the material is impossible to damage.
Can I erase and reuse EverWrite pages?
Use compatible erasable ink. Save any notes you want to keep, wipe the page gently with a lightly damp microfibre cloth, then dry it before writing again.
Which pen should I use with EverWrite?
Use compatible Pilot FriXion ink for erasable writing. Other inks may leave permanent marks.
How should I care for EverWrite?
Clean reusable paper with a lightly damp microfibre cloth and water, then dry it. Keep page-cleaning guidance separate from cover and binding care.
Reusable page care
Water-wipe care for supported reusable editions. Save notes before cleaning.
Which writing tools work on reusable pages?
Use compatible Pilot FriXion pens, markers or highlighters for erasable writing on supported reusable editions. Ordinary ink may leave permanent marks.
What should I check before cleaning a page?
Capture anything you want to keep. Open the saved note and check every page is readable before wiping away the writing.
How do I wipe a reusable page clean?
Dampen part of a microfibre cloth with a little water, wipe the page gently and finish with a dry area of the cloth.
How much water should I use?
Use enough to dampen the cloth, rather than soaking the page. Work on one page at a time.
Can I erase just a small mistake?
Apply a small amount of water locally with a cloth or water-filled brush, then wipe away the ink and moisture.
When can I close the notebook after cleaning?
Let each cleaned page dry completely. Damp pages can stick together when closed.
Can I use soap, sanitiser or cleaning wipes?
Use water for normal cleaning. Avoid soap, oily wipes and solvents that may affect the writing surface.
Why are faint marks visible after erasing?
Writing left for longer periods can leave light staining. Gently clean with water and let the page dry. Contact support if the surface no longer writes normally.
Can I leave planner entries on a page?
You can keep longer-term plans on supported reusable planner pages. Clean periodically; extended ink retention can leave faint marks.
How can I reduce smudging?
Let fresh ink settle before touching the writing. After cleaning, wait for the page to dry before writing again. Drying depends on the tool and conditions.
My pen is skipping. How do I check it?
Try the pen on ordinary scratch paper. If it skips there too, check the ink supply or refill before treating it as a page problem.
How should I care for the microfibre cloth?
Keep it clean and wash it when it becomes inky. Use a dry portion of the cloth to finish cleaning each page.
What if I used a permanent or incompatible pen?
Avoid repeated scrubbing or chemical experiments. Contact support with the edition, pen type and a clear photograph of the affected area.
Can I recover a page after wiping it clean?
Water cleaning removes the ink. Check for a saved digital note; writing physically wiped away cannot be recovered from the page.
How can I reduce everyday wear?
Use light writing pressure and gentle cleaning. Avoid scraping the surface and use the recommended ink.
What information helps with a page-care problem?
Tell support the notebook edition, pen used, how the page was cleaned and what changed. Include a clear photograph without private note content.
Can supported reusable writing be erased with heat?
Use the care and erase method supplied for your edition and approved pen. Apply external heat only if those instructions explicitly permit it. No universal temperature is specified. Keep heat away from Energia and other electronic modules, and save and check notes before clearing the page.
How is heat erasing different from water wiping?
Compatible thermosensitive ink can become invisible with heat. Water wiping physically removes the ink from the page. These are different processes; always verify a digital copy before clearing important writing.
Capture and recognition
Where do I begin a capture?
Choose Capture in the bottom navigation, or Capture a note from Home. Keep the page flat, evenly lit and fully in view, then review the result.
Why does the captured image look blurred?
Clean the lens, hold the device steady and reduce shadows or glare. Capture again and check that small text and page edges are readable.
Where are text recognition settings?
In You, open the How Infinote reads section and Text Recognition. The available options are On-Device Recognition and Cloud Recognition.
How do recognition options differ?
On-Device Recognition is free and works offline for supported text. Cloud Recognition offers enhanced processing for complex pages and languages, uses credits and needs a connection.
Why are words missing or incorrect?
Check the captured image first. Clear writing, complete framing and even lighting help recognition. Review names, dates, numbers and other important details against the original.
Where can I adjust capture preferences?
Text Recognition includes Capture preferences for file naming, save location, quality and format. Review the available choices there.
Does cloud recognition use credits?
Cloud Recognition uses credits per processed page. Check Text Recognition for your current usage and allowance.
Can I scan ordinary notebooks and documents?
Yes. The existing Infinote workflow supports ordinary handwritten and printed pages. Special notebook QR codes are not required to begin capture.
Does recognition replace my original page?
No. The original captured page remains separate from recognised text and derived intelligence. Return to the original when handwriting, a drawing or layout matters.
What is the difference between Original and Text?
Original is the visual captured page. Text is the machine-readable result used for searching, copying and supported intelligence workflows. Editing availability depends on the app version.
Do I need generative AI just to scan or save?
No. Capture, page processing, supported OCR, saving and organising are separate from generative intelligence. A page can become part of your library without cloud AI.
Notes, Spaces and search
Where can I find recent or starred notes?
Open Home and choose Recent or Starred. For notes grouped by topic, check Spaces too.
How do I create a Space?
Open Spaces and choose Create a space. Give it a clear project, subject or context name so related notes are easy to recognise.
How can I find a Space quickly?
Check the pinned Spaces at the top, or use Sort A–Z when you know the name. The Spaces screen also has a search control.
Can I search for a word in my handwriting?
Once the text has been recognised, search for words or phrases from the note. Check the capture and recognition result if expected words are missing.
What does Semantic Search do?
Semantic Search helps find related notes by meaning, even when you do not remember the exact wording. Set it up under You → How Infinote finds.
Why does Semantic Search need a download?
The shown Semantic Search setup requires a model download. Complete that download before using the supported local search option.
What should I check if a note seems missing?
Check Recent, Starred and the relevant Space. Confirm that you are using the expected account and that a digital copy was saved. Contact support before deleting app data or reinstalling.
Can I recover a permanently deleted note?
Permanently deleted notes cannot be restored under the current Infinote FAQ guidance. A note missing from Home is not proof of permanent deletion; check its Space and account first.
Summaries and Ask Notes
Where do I create a summary?
Open Memory and choose Create summary. You can start with a scan, an existing note or pasted text.
How should I review a summary?
Compare it with the original note, especially names, decisions, numbers and dates. Treat generated text as a draft to check before sharing or acting.
What is Ask Notes?
Ask Notes lets you ask natural-language questions about your notes. It retrieves relevant passages and uses the selected intelligence to produce an answer grounded in that material. Verify important details against the source note.
Which intelligence option is used for a summary?
Review Default Intelligence and Per-feature Intelligence. A feature can use a different option from the general default where supported.
Can I ask questions across several notes?
Yes, subject to the selected scope and intelligence mode. Relevant material can be retrieved from more than one note.
Can I narrow a question to a Space or selected notes?
The app architecture supports contextual scopes such as the library, a Space or selected notes. Use the available scope choices to reduce unrelated results.
Does Ask Notes search the internet for an answer?
Ask Notes is designed to answer from your notes. It should not substitute unrelated internet information when the required note content is missing.
Can an answer or summary be wrong?
Yes. Recognition and generative interpretation can make mistakes. Relevant source material helps ground the result, but important details still need review.
Does a summary change the source note?
No. A summary is derived information. The original captured page and recognised text remain separate.
Can I generate a summary again?
Where the selected processing mode is available, a summary can be produced again from the underlying note.
Meetings and reminders
Where can I create a meeting from notes?
Open Memory and choose Meetings. Infinote can help turn note content into a meeting draft; review the date, time and agenda before using it.
Which calendar connections are shown?
Calendar and meeting workflows include Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, Google Meet, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams where supported by the platform, account, permissions and service configuration. Review availability in the app.
Where can I find reminders?
Open Memory and choose Reminders. Check the reminder’s details, date and time before relying on the alert.
What if a reminder does not alert?
Review the reminder details and the app permissions relevant to notifications. If it continues, report the app version, device and what happened to support.
Does detecting a meeting automatically schedule it?
No. Extracted information becomes a draft for review. Confirm or edit the details, choose the calendar or meeting service, then create the event.
What if a time or duration is missing?
The app may provide a default for review. A suggested value is not evidence that it appeared in your handwritten note; check it before creating the meeting.
What does To Review mean?
To Review identifies extracted information that needs confirmation before it is treated as final. Meetings may also have Upcoming and Past views; reminders can include Upcoming, Today and Completed.
Can a reminder keep its source note?
Where source information is available, a reminder can retain its relationship to the original note so you can return to the context.
Why might a reminder notification not appear?
Check the reminder time, Infinote notification permission, system notification settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb, and battery/background policies. The app cannot bypass operating-system controls.
Destinations and sharing
Where do I connect a destination?
Open You → Where Infinote sends and choose Set up destinations. Follow the connection prompts for the provider you want to use.
Which destination providers are available?
Destination options include Google Drive, Dropbox, Microsoft OneDrive, OneNote, Box and email. Availability varies by platform, account and app version.
Why will a destination not connect?
Check connectivity, the account you are using and the authorisation message. Work or school accounts may have organisation restrictions. Send support the destination name and a redacted error message if needed.
Can I share or export notes?
Yes. Share uses the device’s Share Sheet, while Send uses a configured destination. Export formats can include PDF and JPEG, with multi-page documents and text available where the workflow supports them. Check the resulting copy after sharing.
Is saving a note the same as sending it elsewhere?
No. Check the saved note in Infinote, and separately verify any external destination or exported file before erasing the physical page.
Does sending a note move it out of Infinote?
No. Your note stays in Infinote; sending to a destination creates an external copy.
Are destination copies synchronised both ways?
No. Destination exports are independent copies. Later edits or organisation in Infinote do not automatically update a previously exported file.
What happens if an upload fails?
The local source note remains available. Check connectivity, account authorisation, folder access and destination storage, then retry or choose another destination.
Does disconnecting a destination delete previous exports?
No. Disconnecting stops future use of that connection. Files already exported remain under the destination provider’s control.
Is a destination export a complete library backup?
No. An exported file is a copy of selected content. It should not be treated as a full backup capable of restoring the library and its relationships.
Does deleting my Infinote account delete external copies?
Previously exported files are separate from the Infinote library. Manage those copies in the external service.
Intelligence choices and privacy
What are the three intelligence options?
Private Intelligence runs supported workflows on-device after a model download. Built-in Intelligence is on-device without an additional download. Cloud Intelligence is cloud-powered and needs internet access.
Can I set one default for the app?
Yes. Default Intelligence sets the general choice, while Per-feature Intelligence lets you review a different option for specific workflows.
Can Infinote work offline?
Supported on-device recognition and intelligence workflows can work offline. Complete required model downloads first. Cloud processing, provider connections and online services need connectivity.
Where do I manage downloads?
Open You → Manage Downloads to review intelligence and on-device models. Private Intelligence and Semantic Search have download/setup states.
Where are privacy and permission controls?
Open You → Privacy & Security or App Permissions. Review the permission related to the action you want to use.
Is all processing on-device?
No. The app offers both on-device and cloud choices. Check the recognition and intelligence selections for the workflow you are using.
Is there a free app plan?
The current Infinote FAQ describes a free plan for essential scanning, recognition, organisation and notes. Check current in-app plan information for limits and paid processing.
Is Aurelius the same as Infinote Intelligence?
No. Infinote Intelligence™ is the wider platform. Aurelius™ is the private pre-trained on-device model for supported intelligent note workflows.
Why might Aurelius be unavailable on my device?
Check the model status, download completion, free storage, update state and device requirements. Local models need compatible memory, storage and processing resources.
How much storage does the model need?
Model packages can vary by version and device class. Review the current download and storage requirements in the app rather than relying on a fixed website number.
Will a private request silently become cloud processing?
The intended privacy architecture keeps private and cloud processing separate. Selecting private intelligence is not intended to silently authorise transmission to an external AI provider.
What can I use offline?
Depending on the device and installed components, local capture, saved notes, supported OCR, search, Spaces, semantic retrieval and installed Aurelius workflows can operate offline. Cloud processing, downloads and external services require a connection.
Focus and priorities
What focus tools can I use?
The current app shows Pomodoro, Stopwatch, Countdown and an Eisenhower Matrix. Choose the tool that fits the task in front of you.
How do I begin a Pomodoro session?
Open the Pomodoro tool and use Start for a focused work interval. The screen also offers Add Focus Note to keep the work context nearby.
Can I time work without a fixed interval?
The focus screen includes a Stopwatch option alongside Pomodoro.
What is the Eisenhower Matrix for?
Sort tasks into four groups: urgent and important; important but not urgent; urgent but not important; and neither urgent nor important.
What does Countdown show?
Countdown keeps upcoming dates and the remaining days in view. Use the add control to create an entry for a date that matters to you.
App setup and support
Which devices are supported?
Infinote has iOS and Android app listings. Check the listing for your device’s requirements and current compatibility.
Where can I learn the workflows?
Open You → Learn Infinote, or read the Infinote guides and app overview.
How can I report a problem or suggest a feature?
You includes Report a Problem, Suggest a Feature and Contact Support. Use the option that matches your request.
What should I include in an app support request?
Send the device model, operating system, app version, failed step and exact error message. Remove private note content and account details from any screenshot.

Orders and payment
How do I find my order reference?
Check your order confirmation. If you cannot find it, contact support using the email address used for the purchase.
Can I change or cancel an order?
Contact hello@getinfinote.com or WhatsApp +91 99015 70710 before dispatch with your order reference. After shipment, cancellation is unavailable and an address change cannot be guaranteed. Use the return process for eligible items. If you paid online through Razorpay and cancel before dispatch, we deduct only the actual payment-gateway charge incurred for your transaction that Razorpay does not return. This is approximately 2% plus applicable GST on the fee (about 2.36% at 18% GST); the charge may vary by payment method. If Infinote cancels, nothing is deducted.
Which payment methods can I use?
The available payment methods are shown at checkout.
Where can I find my invoice?
A GST tax invoice is emailed for every completed order. Business customers should provide their legal name, billing address and GSTIN before invoice generation. For a duplicate or correction, email hello@getinfinote.com with your order number and billing details. Infinote GSTIN: 29AAHCT7869A1ZX.
Shipping and delivery

Contact support with your order reference and any tracking information.
How long will delivery take?
Orders within India typically arrive in 3 to 7 business days, depending on your location. We try to ship orders placed before 12:00 pm IST on the same day. International orders typically take 10 to 15 business days or longer. The courier determines the final delivery time, and we are not liable for delays caused by couriers or by events outside our control.
Are duties or customs charges included?
No. For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and local fees are the customer's responsibility and are not included in the price.
How do I track my shipment?
After dispatch, a tracking link is shared by email and through the Shopify order-status page. The courier may also send SMS or WhatsApp updates where available.
Returns and refunds
How do I request a return?
Use the Return Request page and describe the item and reason for the request.
Which items can be returned?
Report damage or defects within 7 days of actual delivery. For other reasons, request a return within 7 days of actual delivery; the item must be new, unused, in its original packaging and resellable. Personalised or custom-made, sale and clearance items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. These exclusions do not remove remedies for items that arrive damaged, defective or materially different from their description.
Can I exchange an item?
Damaged or defective items may be replaced when reported within 7 days of actual delivery. For a change of colour or item, request an eligible return within 7 days and place a new order. Change-of-mind items must be new, unused, in their original packaging and resellable; personalised, sale and clearance items are excluded.
When will my refund arrive?
After we receive and inspect the returned item, we email you to confirm approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days, and your bank may take a further 2 to 3 business days. For returns other than damage or defect, the original shipping charge is not refunded.
Personalisation and gifting
How do I discuss gifting?
Contact Infinote with the products, quantity and date you have in mind.
Can I add a name or a logo?
Name and logo personalisation is available on selected Infinote notebooks and gift sets. Methods, minimum quantities, artwork requirements and lead times depend on the product, process and order quantity and are confirmed in the quotation. Email hello@getinfinote.com.
